A Favorite Recipe

What do you think of when you think of Sunday lunch growing up? I remember the smell of a roast or brisket cooking when we came home for lunch.

Mom’s Brisket
(Great brisket recipe from my mom.)

8-10 lb Brisket
1/3 c whole pepper corn
1 T onion
1 T garlic powder
1 T Morton Nature Seasoning
20 cumin seeds (or powder)
2 oz liquid smoke
5 oz soy sauce
2 oz Worcestershire sauce

Place liquid on first and then cover with dry ingredients. Wrap tight and seal. Bake 8-10 hours at 200° - 275°.
